Sumitomo Construction Machinery & Manufacturing Company of Chiba, Japan has recently released their new model SH80-3B hydraulic excavator to the Australian market.

The SH80-3B features short tail swing combined with a wide boom swing radius arrangement for exceptional operation in confined areas. Other features include swing ABS, ground level servicing, EMS (easy maintenance system), large ergonomic cab design, viscous cab mounts for reduced vibration and more.
The SH80-3B weighs in at 8430 kg and is powered by an Isuzu AU-4LE2X Tier III compliant engine developing 40 kW @ 2000 rpm. Standard fitment includes a dozer blade, 2.12 m arm and 450 mm track shoes. Two variable displacement axial piston pumps and two way flow hydraulics give you maximum versatility and performance, with bucket breakout of 57 kN. 
 
This new model will suit any contractor who needs performance and flexibility in a tight situation.
