Test Drive : Sumitomo SH450LHD-3B Excavator

Give me a break Final Trim! The tradition with Test Drives is to find things they don't like about the machines they are test driving. Sure we can give you a run down on the features (which I will do) but it reads better if I can slip in a little fault or manufacturing error, this shows how clever I am!
There used to be noticeable negative differences between this size excavator throughout the manufactuers but technology and research have created a level playing field.
The Sumitomo SH450LHD-3B excavator is a comfortable stable excavator with plenty of operator friendly features. Slim sized pillars and large windows allow clear vision, deluxe suspension seating, large capacity air conditioning, excellent large instrument display and very quiet operation, make for minimal operator fatigue.
Featuring an advanced hydraulic system with auto power boost and auto power swing, incorporating a selector valve to maintain hydraulic flow. The swing system has a large turn table and bearing system, with track link M type seals and increased pin hardness.
Fuel efficiency is combined with reduced emissions to keep it more environmentally friendly, whilst maintaining engine power.
I put the Sumitomo through a hard workout and it didn't falter. It's strong and powerful. Maintenance is an easy onsite operation, with clearly marked and accessible filters from ground level.
A three year or 6,000 hour, conditional warranty is available with a support network and service centres throughout the country. Sumitomo have done a nice job with this excavator, you will not be disappointed. So test drive a Sumitomo excavator, top marks for fuel efficiency, swing speed and operator comfort!
