The first Yanmar Excavator received in Sydney by our Group in 1979 was the YB1200SS model and it was only available with a canopy and steel tracks.
It had a weight of 2850 kg, a dig depth of 2.7 metres and a travel speed of 1.6 km/h
Thirty years on and that unit has developed into the VIO27-5B and comes standard with Zero tail swing and other vastly improved specifications including:
- Joy Stick Controls and 2 Way Pattern Select
- VIPPS - 3 pumps combine flow for simultaneous operations
- Yanmar Diesel Tier 3 Engine 3THV82A 16.1 kW @ 2200 rpm
- Dig Depth of 2.75 metres / Dump Height 2.91 metres
- Two Speed Travel of 2.8 and 4.7 km/h
- ROPS / FOPS Canopy or ROPS / FOPS Cabin
- Rubber or Steel Tracks with Artliner rubber pad option
- Hydraulic Quick Hitch and Piping to Dipper Arm end
- Operating weight of 3150 kg for canopy / rubber, or 3280kg cabin / rubber
